Driver's Education

TDS Virtual Classes.jpg

In the state of North Carolina, anyone under the age of 18, but over the age of 14 1/2, wishing to obtain their limited learner's permit must complete 30 hours of classroom and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction.

At Triad Driving School, we offer both the 30 hour classroom portion as well as the 6 hour behind-the-wheel instruction. With both traditional and interactive classroom instruction, we strive to make the learning process fun and informative.

With events related to COVID-19, we are now offering virtual classes for the 30-hour classroom portion of Driver's Education in North Carolina. These classes cover the same material as our in-person classes, but can be attended by students from the comfort of their homes. These online classes are designed to be interactive and engaging for the students so they have the best experience possible while attending the class virtually.

To register, simply click the "Schedule NOW" button in the bottom right corner of any page of our website and select the individual class that best fits the student's schedule.  Each class is varies as far as dates and times. If you have any questions on the actual run time of the class, please send us a message. Each class is limited to 25 students, so reserve your student's spot quickly. There is a minimum of 5 students to hold a class, so if one scheduled class does not meet the minimum, we will consolidate that class with the next available class.

Currently, we anticipate students to be behind the wheel with an instructor about 2-3 months after classroom completion.

Already completed the 30 hour classroom instruction and only need the 6 hour behind-the-wheel portion? We can help!   CLICK HERE
